Great all around

Your drawing and animation skills place you among the best of the best of Newground animators, but what really impresses me are your abilities in dialogue, plot developement, directing, and (!)voice acting. (Mary's voice was good, Elliot's was great, but the Rabbit's was fucking spectacular). And all of this in 11 days..

Not bad

Kudos on the Disney style, it's a change from the anime stuff usually seen around here. I dunno if the style is suitable for Flash though, it seems too traditional, too detailed to be able to animate effectively.

Boo on the boring storyline - not much happens! I don't mind if there's no violence, but when you take out humor and anything remotely interesting happening, it makes for a boring movie! It seems like a waste to animate all that nothing happening.

I suggest that you watch Ninjai(www.ninjai.com) to see how a good series is done.

That's not entirely fair

If you are "flashing off" the NG community for rejecting your insights, then you should take a look at those insights first. While they are contained in highly symbolic, metaphoric flashes(just like the flowers are carried by a hulking, menacing figure), they aren't exactly flowers or lollies.

Your themes tend to be very abstract and very freaky. Maybe the guy should have been offering flashes of kids being raped by a snake coming out of bird-men with scythes for hands instead.

Spending tons of time drawing anime characters in cool stances is useless if all you can do is tween them.

But your skills aren't quite there yet. Watch Genryu's Blade by Nelso Hurst(about 3rd or 4th on top 50 list right now), if you haven't already, I think that's where you're trying to go.

Get the patience to animate swordfights frame by frame, that DBZ crap will never cut it, get better music, and for Christ's sake get a more original plot.
